We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Recovery Coordinator in Thurrock to join our integrated healthcare service delivering psychosocial drug and alcohol interventions to adults aged 18+. This full-time (35 Hours) role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a supportive, outcome-focused environment.
Working within a multi-disciplinary framework, you’ll provide person-centred treatment using both harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches, tailoring support to individual recovery goals while promoting safety, stability and long-term change.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing and prioritising a varied caseload
* Completing risk, initial and comprehensive assessments
* Developing, reviewing and updating structured care plans
* Delivering engaging 1:1 interventions and structured group programmes
* Providing practical harm reduction advice and health risk management
* Coordinating care with healthcare, housing, probation, employment and family support services
* Motivating clients to engage with community and specialist support
* Contributing to KPIs and measurable service outcomes
What We’re Looking For
* Experience within the substance misuse field, either directly or indirectly
* Strong assessment, care planning and risk management skills
* Confidence delivering structured interventions in both 1:1 and group settings
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet performance targets
* A collaborative, solution-focused mindset
* Commitment to safeguarding, quality standards and continuous professional development
* Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends with reasonable notice
