To provide a management presence and high standard of guest service; night audit procedures; Duty Management. Main duties include:
1. To be responsible for guest relations, complaint handling and all reception duties.
2. To have complete knowledge of all hotel front office systems and standards.
3. To cover holiday and absence within the night team and have a flexible approach to shift patterns.
4. To ensure meals for guests from the room service menu are prepared and cooked to adequate standards. To have a good knowledge of the room service menu.
5. To serve on the bar in the lounge area providing a high level of customer service.
6. To ensure all public areas are maintained to high level of cleanliness.
7. To ensure the meeting rooms are correctly set by the porters
8. To ensure the building is secure at all times.
9. To follow procedures for fire safety.
10. To follow procedures for safety of guests and employees.
11. To balance all revenue generating departments
12. To bank daily takings.
13. To follow night audit procedures and produce the Night Audit pack
14. To comply with Human Resource requirements – departmental training, departmental meetings – and follow hotel policies and procedures
15. Any other reasonable duties.
