Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters a love of literature, language and communication. Effectively assess student progress and implement strategies to meet individual needs. Contribute to the development of the English department and wider school curriculum. Build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues. Play an active role in the school community, potentially including extracurricular activities. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English. A minimum of 2 years’ successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the English language. Strong planning, assessment and differentiation skills. The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
