Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated, experienced individual to join our Anaesthetic Practitioner Team at Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth.
As a department we focus on patient safety, excellence and staff well‑being, and we are looking for individuals who have these values at the centre of their practice.
The Main Theatre is a highly productive department that provides a range of services across several specialities. There are five theatres in total, including a 24/7 service for NCEPOD, Ophthalmic, Trauma & Obstetrics.
We operate a 24/7 rota, which includes day, twilight and night shifts.
Responsibilities
* Provide anaesthetic support across the Main Theatre and assist in peri‑operative care.
* Work collaboratively with a supportive team, prioritising patient safety and staff wellbeing.
* Participate in mentorship and ongoing professional development under a dedicated Education, Training and Development lead.
* Support emergency care as required.
Qualifications
* Hold a RGN/RN qualification or a Diploma/Degree in Operating Department Practice.
* Possess a mentorship qualification or willingness to obtain one.
* Desirable to have experience in emergency care.
* Welsh language skills are desirable; English speakers are also welcome.
