GSL Education are searching for an enthusiastic PE Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering dynamic lessons that encourage participation, resilience, and skill development. As Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured PE sessions, supporting students of all abilities to develop physical skills, teamwork, and an understanding of health and fitness within a positive and inclusive environment. Responsibilities of PE Teacher: Deliver well-organised PE lessons aligned with the curriculum Encourage teamwork, fair play, and active participation Support pupils in developing physical skills and confidence Maintain a safe and structured learning environment Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback What we are looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience teaching PE in a school setting Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What’s in It for You?
