Job description for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor with the opportunity to work across a range of projects and sectors, supported by a collaborative and inclusive team from day one.
Responsibilities
* Work across all phases of project delivery, from early design to final settlement.
* Accurately manage capital expenditure and assess the financial impact of infrastructure and property assets on client business models.
* Gain exposure to contract reviews, commercial strategy, and construction settlements.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure financial integrity and project success.
* Support clients across sectors including Environment & Water, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Property, and Transportation.
* Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, promoting transparency, accountability, and shared success.

Locations
Locations include: Buildings – Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff; Defence – Bristol, Exeter; Water – London, Reading. You will be asked to select your preferred location as part of the application form.
Candidate Specification
We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates who want to make a real difference. To be eligible:
* Less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements).
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one in Quantity Surveying.
You should demonstrate genuine interest in the opportunity and joining Mott MacDonald by highlighting relevant experience or interests, such as modules, previous work, or research about our company, values, and projects.
