Overview
In this role you will be at the forefront of delivering new models of care through transformation that meets the needs of our community, and will be able to contribute to the creation of what that looks like as well as positively impacting and enhancing the experiences of our patients in the diverse community of Brent. You will provide day-to-day specialist clinical care in a supported environment and within a dynamic team, to a diverse group of patients. You will work to embed biomechanics within the service across our caseloads and carry some operational management duties supporting the Clinical Team Lead. Providing day-to-day professional leadership, you will ensure the needs of patients are placed at the centre of care delivery while providing assurance that standards of clinical care within a designated area is of the highest standard attainable.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate effective leadership alongside excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to teach and inspire colleagues through reflective practice, active demonstration of clinical practice and leadership.
* Provide day-to-day professional leadership and care, ensuring patient needs are central to care delivery and that clinical standards are of the highest attainable level within the designated area.
* Lead on and educate colleagues and junior staff regarding biomechanical and musculoskeletal (MSK) interventions and podiatry treatment plans as the clinical specialist for podiatric biomechanics in the local team.
* Embed biomechanics within the service across caseloads and support operational management duties for the Clinical Team Lead.
* Contribute to shaping and growing a supportive, caring and dedicated team environment and participate actively in recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development where appropriate.
* Engage with the community and contribute to transformation efforts that improve patient experiences in Brent.

Qualifications
The post holder will act as a clinical specialist for podiatric biomechanics in their local team. You will lead on and educate your colleagues and junior staff regarding biomechanical and the musculoskeletal (MSK) interventions, theories and podiatry treatment plans being the main contact for this area within your team.
