Join Our Team as a 7.5T Driver – More Than Just a Driving Role
Are you looking to enhance your career with the European leader in supply and distribution of building materials? Jewson, alongside its sister brands form the STARK Group and we are looking for a reliable, proactive and customer-focused 7.5 Tonne Curtain Sider Driver to support our regional workshop operation. You will be delivering and collecting a wide range of equipment to our Jewson branches across London and the South East but this is not just a driving job. You will be a key part of our operation, representing our business on site, building strong relationships with our branch colleagues (our internal customers) and taking full ownership of your daily routes and responsibilities.

The Role
Delivering and collecting a range of tools and equipment to Jewson branches
Operating a 7.5T curtain sider vehicle safely and professionally
Planning and managing your daily route effectively
Loading and securing equipment correctly
Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance at all times
Acting as a key point of contact for branches during deliveries
Representing the workshop and wider business with professionalism
No two days are the same. Routes vary, equipment varies and priorities can shift. We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
On quieter transport days, you won't just be waiting for the next run. You'll roll your sleeves up and get involved in the workshop:
Assisting with preparing equipment ready to go back out to branches
Supporting basic checks, cleaning and organising of kit
Helping maintain high standards within the workshop
This role offers real variability, a mix of driving, customer interaction and hands-on workshop support.
What are we looking for?
Valid 7.5t licence (Category C1)
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
Strong knowledge of London & South East routes
Customer-focused mindset
Proactive and able to work independently
Professional, organised and reliable
Physically fit and comfortable with loading/unloading equipment
Takes ownership and pride in their work
