This role is ideal for a Registered General Nurse (Adult) or Registered Mental Health Nurse seeking part-time hours while delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Working 30 hours per week, the Day Nurse will play an important role in supporting residents’ health, wellbeing, and dignity. What We’re Looking For Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN). Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Previous experience in a nursing home setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Compassionate and patient-focused approach to nursing care. Willingness to engage in training and professional development. Ability to use medical equipment confidently and maintain accurate records. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred care in line with residents’ individual care plans. Safely administer medications and monitor their effectiveness. Complete regular health and wellbeing checks throughout the day. Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation. Respond promptly and professionally to clinical emergencies. Work collaboratively with carers, therapists, doctors, and other professionals. Build positive relationships with residents and their families. Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental health. Promote safeguarding, infection prevention, and high standards of hygiene in line with CQC requirements.
