Role Overview Job Title: Recycling Technician Location: Loughborough - Bishop Meadow Road (Onsite) Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour (AWD/AWR Salary Equivalent: £25,740.00) Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 Duration: 12-month contract Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities As a Recycling Technician, you will split your time between hands-on waste management and electronic record-keeping. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Waste & Recycling Management: Offloading delivery vehicles; segregating returned bottles, cardboard, and pulp into correct recycling streams; and breaking down and baling cardboard. Forklift Operations: Safely emptying mini skips into larger skips using a forklift truck. Vendor & Logistics Coordination: Managing skip collections with preferred waste vendors, loading collection vehicles, and maintaining associated paperwork.
