Vanrath is bringing an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join a fast-growing IT company headquartered in Belfast (the role is mostly remote with the odd trip to office).
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and developing the sales function, managing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and driving new business growth across key sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives, setting clear performance targets and KPIs.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to drive lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth.
* Support the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to qualification and handover to senior sales or account management teams.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and outreach; monitor sales metrics and pipeline performance, providing regular reporting and insight to senior management.
* Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and conversion rates.
* Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success.
Essential Criteria
* Proven experience in a sales leadership or team management role within SaaS/technology.
* Strong understanding of outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
* Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive performance.
* A proactive, target-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding commercial goals.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
* Background in scaling or developing SDR teams.
