The Role
We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our team on a full-time, 15-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while working closely with production, planning, and operations teams to ensure customer expectations and service levels are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure departmental procedures are followed at all times
* Manage customer orders end-to-end, ensuring timely release to meet agreed due dates
* Create order acknowledgements and new Finished Goods material codes
* Communicate effectively with assigned customers, always striving to exceed expectations
* Liaise with planning on artwork and repro requests and gain artwork approvals
* Ensure orders are accurately priced and all artwork and origination costs are correctly charged to customers
* Work with transport suppliers to arrange collections and deliveries
* Raise transport and ad-hoc purchase orders
* Produce accurate stock and sales reports
* Maintain prompt and accurate filing and archiving of customer orders and correspondence
* Monitor and support achievement of departmental targets and KPIs
* Provide clear, concise, and timely information to customers and senior management
* Advise customers of lead times and proactively highlight any potential delays or issues
* Liaise with internal and external departments, including requesting quotes from the commercial team
* Organise product samples as required
* Build product knowledge through training and close collaboration with the sales team
* Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as required
* Always maintain a professional manner
About You
* Previous experience in an Account Executive or similar customer-facing role
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Confident working in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive, customer-focused approach
* Comfortable working cross-functionally with production, operations, sales, and commercial teams
* Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
