We are looking for a kind, proactive, and trustworthy housekeeper to support a vibrant, down-to-earth family in Kidderminster. This role has been created to help free up time for a busy working couple, allowing them to spend more quality time with their two young children.
The family lives in a welcoming, lived-in home with two cats, a dog, and lots of energy — so you’ll need to be an animal lover who’s comfortable in a lively environment. You won’t be expected to do pet care, but a friendly attitude toward furry friends is essential.
What You’ll Help With:
> General cleaning and tidying around the home
> Occasional food shopping and errands
> Light problem-solving if minor issues arise around the house (e.g. coordinating with tradespeople)
The family is currently finishing some building work, so being comfortable in a home that’s not always “show home” perfect is a plus. Experience with builders or tradespeople is helpful, but not essential.
Who You’ll Be Supporting:
A hands-on mum who works full-time raising two energetic children (aged 6 and 8), and a CEO whose work is demanding — but whose priority is always his family. They are a fun, open, and relaxed household who value honesty, humour, and initiative.
This role is about making life a little bit easier. If things go well, there is scope for the role to grow in future, with additional responsibilities and hours available (always with pay adjusted accordingly).
Practical Details:
> Part-time: approx. 6 hours per week to start, with flexibility
> Must have own car (ample driveway parking and EV charging available)
> DBS check and references required
If you’re looking for a flexible role where you can make a meaningful difference in a family’s everyday life, we’d love to hear from you.
