About the role As a Highways Skilled Operative with LGV / Lead 2 Person Crew, you’ll work as part of a team delivering a variety of highways maintenance activities, including: Kerbing, drainage installation, patching and ironwork renewal Installation and maintenance of street furniture General site maintenance, excavating trenches and holes Traffic management and routine cyclical works Maintaining roadside verges and operating relevant plant and equipment If appointed as Lead 2 Person Crew, you’ll take responsibility for leading small two‑person crews as part of your role This post includes participation in an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota for emergencies and winter maintenance, so a driving licence and access to personal transport are desirable.
