Overview
The Renewables division is responsible for delivering ground-mounted solar PV projects across the UK, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient site operations throughout the full project lifecycle.
Pay: £65,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
Job Objective
To manage day-to-day site operations for ground-mounted solar PV projects, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules while supporting overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations for ground-mounted solar projects, ensuring works align with design specifications, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
* Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, contractors, and suppliers.
* Implement project plans and schedules provided by the Senior Project Manager.
* Coordinate site logistics, resource allocation, and subcontractor activities.
* Ensure timely completion of project milestones and maintain accurate site records.
* Enforce HSQE standards and conduct regular site inspections.
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and company safety policies.
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions.
* Monitor site costs and report variances to the Senior Project Manager.
* Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation measures.
* Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Senior Project Manager.
* Support client meetings and provide updates on site progress.
* Oversee commissioning, testing, and preparation of handover documentation.
* Ensure snagging and quality assurance checks are completed before project completion.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in site-based project management, preferably in renewable energy or large-scale solar PV projects.
* Proven ability to effectively manage subcontractors and site teams.
* SMSTS certification essential.
* First Aid qualification essential.
* IOSH or NEBOSH certification desirable.
Skills & Competencies
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in MS Project and site management tools.
* Knowledge of UK planning, grid connection, and renewable energy regulations
