We are partnered with a global manufacturer recognised as a market leader within the building services and interiors sector. The business is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation, investing heavily in people, products, and customer excellence.

The Role
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new and repeat business across the piping and building services product portfolio. This is a hands-on, technical position (approx. 70% working with installers / contractors and 30% with merchants) focused on delivering training, demonstrations, and on-site support.
You’ll work closely with contractors, merchants, and specification colleagues to drive brand preference, secure project business, and maintain the reputation for quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop strong relationships with contractors, ensuring products are their go-to choice.
* Deliver on-site product demonstrations, technical training, and installation support.
* Drive growth through new user conversion and repeat business.
* Support merchant partners through training and category development.
* Collaborate with the Specification Sales team to convert project specifications.
* Achieve and exceed area sales targets, contributing to the wider regional strategy.
* Identify new business opportunities within the building services and installation community.
The Person
* Proven field sales experience within building materials, construction, or bathrooms.
* Technically minded, confident leading on-site demonstrations and training.
* Self-motivated, structured, and able to manage a large, high-performing territory.
* Experience dealing with installers, contractors, and merchants is essential.
