Position Details
If you are seeking a leadership opportunity from September, look no further! An exciting role is available for a trained or aspiring SENDCo at a lovely two-form entry school in Hyde Tameside. This position starts in September on a full-time basis and offers a salary of M6 with a TLR2a. The role is blended, involving 1-2 days of in-class teaching, with most responsibilities focusing on coordinating SEND across the school.

Role Overview

As SENDCo, you will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive culture within the school and improving the educational experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities
* Possess a strong understanding of the SEN code of practice & primary curriculum. (NASENCo qualification is highly desirable but not essential)
* Be committed to raising achievement for students of all abilities
* Experience in reading, writing, and reviewing EHCPs
* Conduct 1:1 assessments and liaise with SLT and parents/guardians
* Coordinate SEN provisions daily through collaboration with staff, parents, and external agencies
* Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with children and adults
* Show passion and dedication to helping children reach their academic potential
