Take Control of Your Career – Join Our Dynamic Finance Team! Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for reducing debt and improving cash flow? We’re looking for a Credit Controller to take charge of a key client portfolio, optimising collections and maintaining strong customer relationships while playing a critical role in our finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where your contributions truly matter. You’ll work closely with the Credit Manager and wider finance team, making a tangible impact on cash collections and debtor performance. Please note, this is a hybrid opportunity, requiring three days a week at our Head Office in the Mailbox, Birmingham City Centre. Own your ledger – Manage day-to-day cash collection across your assigned portfolio. Customer engagement – Proactively contact clients to chase overdue payments and build professional relationships. Query resolution – Log and escalate disputes promptly to ensure timely follow-up and resolution. Accurate reporting – Support senior leadership with timely, detailed debtor reports. Cash management – Assist with Direct Debit processing and ensure payments are allocated correctly. System accuracy – Keep customer billing and contact records up to date. Team collaboration – Work with internal teams to improve payment cycles and drive process efficiency. A solid understanding of the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle. Good experience in a fast-paced finance function. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Strong Excel and finance system skills. Confident, organised, and committed to continual improvement. Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Bonus points if you have: Experience using Salesforce and NetSuite. Previous experience in a SaaS environment.
