HGV Trailer Technician Commercial Accident Repair Centre
1. Location: Nottingham
2. Salary: Circa £50,000 basic + Overtime
3. Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Trailer Technician to join a busy Commercial Accident Repair Centre in the Nottingham area. This is a Monday to Friday role offering a strong basic salary, excellent overtime potential, and the chance to work within a well-established and professional commercial repair environment.
This role would suit a skilled technician who is confident working on trailers and commercial vehicles and is looking for a stable, long-term position with strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:
10. Service, repair, and maintain trailers including tail lifts and curtain siders
11. Carry out fault diagnosis and complete repairs efficiently
12. Prepare trailers for MOT inspections and compliance standards
13. Complete repairs in line with manufacturer and health & safety guidelines
14. Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
15. Identify and report additional defects or repair requirements
16. Ensure high standards of workmanship are maintained at all times
About You:
17. Previous experience as a Trailer Technician or HGV Technician is essential
18. Strong understanding of trailer systems including tail lifts and curtain siders
19. Confident in fault finding, diagnostics, and repair work
20. Level 2/3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance (preferred but not essential)
21. HGV licence (desirable but not essential)
22. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
23. Full UK driving licence required
