POSITION: COMPENSATION & BENEFITS MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: HR

LOCATION: Central London

REPORTS TO: HR Director

DIRECT REPORTS: Employee Benefits Specialist


PURPOSE

We are seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our dynamic HR team, responsible for leading the development, implementation and governance of the UK & Ireland Reward strategy, policies and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and LVMH Group guidelines.


Job Responsibilities


Main Responsibilities

* Monitor and analyse market trends to ensure external competitiveness and drive the UK&I Compensation & Benefits strategy.
* Act as the local Reward subject matter expert, providing consultancy and guidance to HR and business stakeholders.
* Ensure alignment between local reward practices and HQ / Group frameworks.
* Lead and contribute to Reward digitalisation initiatives and systems optimisation.
* Promote transparency and understanding of Reward structures across the UK&I region.


Analytics & Reporting

* Define and monitor Reward KPIs and D&I metrics (e.g. pay equity ratio, gender pay gap, average salary positioning, etc.).
* Conduct detailed internal and external equity analysis to support HRBPs and business leaders in decision‑making.
* Provide robust reporting and insights to senior leadership and GM level to support strategic workforce planning.


Compensation

* Lead the annual compensation review process in partnership with local management and HQ (Head Office and Retail populations).
* Ensure compliance with LVMH Group budget guidelines and governance.
* Calculate and manage the annual merit increase and bonus budget in line with methodology and financial targets.
* Prepare and present status reports to senior leadership to support informed decision‑making.
* Manage bonus accruals and ensure accurate and timely execution of incentive payments.
* Oversee job grading and salary benchmarking using Mercer and Hays methodologies.
* Design and structure competitive salary packages for new hires.
* Partner with HQ to manage internal mobility processes, including compensation structuring and end‑to‑end coordination of visa applications where applicable.


Benefits

* Oversee the administration and governance of employee benefits (pension, PMI, life assurance, income protection, etc.).
* Lead annual renewal negotiations with benefits brokers and providers.
* Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies for new benefit offerings.
* Monitor reward spends against approved budget and proactively identify risks or deviations.
* Collaborate with LVMH sister companies to share best practices and leverage LVMH Group synergies.


Knowledge Management & Project Management

* Deliver Reward training sessions to HR and line managers to ensure understanding and transparency of reward policies.
* Lead and implement UK&I Group Reward projects (e.g. wellbeing initiatives) and local initiatives ensuring consistency and compliance.
* Drive continuous improvement of Reward processes and governance.


Profile

PERSON SPECIFICATION Degree in HR, Business, Finance or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits within a retail or commercial environment. Proven Total Reward management experience. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Experience managing reward budgets and forecasting. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple priorities. Advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint). Solid knowledge of job evaluation methodologies. Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage). Experience in HR generalist or Reward consultancy environments is a plus. Exposure to retail and wellbeing programme design is advantageous.
