Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join our Product team, supporting Cloud & Platform Security and Developer Enablement (AppSec).
The Product team ensures the delivery of meaningful security outcomes and collaborates successfully across Morgan Stanley's Enterprise Technology organizations.
This role requires an outgoing individual with strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively across a matrixed organization of technical staff, risk professionals, and senior leaders. The role reports to the Head of Product for Cloud & Platform Security and Developer Enablement.
Within our Technology division, we leverage innovation to build connections and capabilities that power our firm, enabling clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future. This is an infrastructure Security Engineer position at VP level, responsible for providing cyber expertise and creating solutions to protect our systems and networks against security threats and vulnerabilities.
What You'll Do In The Role
1. Lead customer and stakeholder discovery, and foster partnerships.
2. Manage, socialize, and evolve the product roadmap.
3. Enable the engineering team to work in an agile manner, providing clear direction and feedback.
4. Ensure end-to-end delivery of the product roadmap, collaborating across teams and managing dependencies and risks.
5. Align individual product strategy with the wider organizational strategy.
6. Understand industry and market trends to inform customer interactions and the product roadmap.
7. Build and maintain a customer community and engagement for the product.
8. Champion the team's customer successes.
What You'll Bring To The Role
1. Experience in Product Management.
2. A technical background enabling effective communication with customers and engineering teams.
3. Experience in modern software engineering environments and the software development lifecycle.
4. Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
5. Experience delivering outcomes in matrix organizations and influencing partners.
6. Facilitation skills across teams and roles.
7. Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication skills.
8. Experience working in an agile development environment.
9. Typically, at least 5 years of relevant experience.
