We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Commercial and Residential Property Lawyer to join our Property team. Duties
* Provide expert legal advice on a variety of commercial and residential property matters, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
* Represent clients in negotiations with third parties, ensuring favourable terms and conditions are achieved.
* Conduct legal research to support case preparation and provide informed recommendations.
* Advise clients on risk management strategies and compliance issues related to their business operations.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business decisions.
* Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting commercial and residential property law and advise clients accordingly.
Skills
* Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients while maintaining professional relationships.
* Strong analytical skills to assess complex legal documents and identify potential issues.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear articulation of legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
* Ability to manage own caseload independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Proven problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Experience
* Preferably 2 years PQE but less experience considered.
* Confident to work autonomously but within and supported by a friendly team environment.
