I’m working with a well-established, full-service law firm that has built a fantastic reputation for its friendly culture, high-quality legal advice, and long-standing client relationships. The firm’s Private Client department is thriving and looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) to join their Wills & Probate team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone at the start of their legal career who’s passionate about private client work and wants to develop in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The Role
You’ll be joining a close-knit and experienced team handling a broad range of private client matters, including:
* Drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney (LPAs)
* Advising on estate administration and probate
* Supporting clients with inheritance tax and estate planning
* Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, and third-party advisers
* Managing your own files (with supervision) and assisting senior solicitors on complex cases
You’ll be given early responsibility, client contact, and excellent ongoing training — this is a genuine career-development opportunity within a respected and growing department.
About You
To be considered, you should:
* Be a Newly Qualified Solicitor (or qualifying soon) in England & Wales
* Have completed a Private Client/Wills & Probate seat during your training, or show a clear interest in this area
* Be personable, empathetic, and comfortable working with clients on sensitive matters
* Have strong drafting and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
* Be a team player who’s keen to learn and grow within a supportive environment
