An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established business and In House legal function, with a strong presence in the construction and property sectors. This role offers the chance to provide expert guidance and support across a range of contentious matters, engaging with key stakeholders and contributing to the overall legal strategy of the business. This role would suit candidates from a Construction, Property or Commercial Litigation background.
What you'll do:
* Managing a broad range of litigation matters, including construction and property disputes.
* Advising internal stakeholders on dispute resolution strategies to minimise legal risk.
* Handling pre-action negotiations, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and formal litigation proceedings.
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
* Liaising with and managing external legal counsel when required.
* Providing training and guidance to internal teams on litigation risks and best practices.
* Keeping up to date with relevant legal and industry developments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
What you bring:
* Qualified solicitor with significant experience in litigation.
* Background in construction or property litigation is preferred.
* Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work under pressure.
