Job Description
3. Manage a high-volume ER caseload (approx. 15-20 cases monthly)
4. Lead on disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals
5. Support and advise managers on ER best practice
6. Oversee performance management and sickness absence cases
7. Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal policies
8. Conduct hearings and produce outcome documentation
9. Handle complex and high-risk ER matters, escalating where needed
10. Support HR projects (e.g. TUPE, redundancy, policy updates)
11. Maintain accurate case records and HR systems
12. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
The Successful Applicant
A successful ER Advisor should have:
13. Must be Available Immediately
14. CIPD Level 5 qualified (essential)
15. Strong background managing complex ER cases
16. Confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
17. Solid knowledge of UK employment law
18. Comfortable working fully office-based
19. Strong organisational and communication skills
20. Experience in health, social care or similar (desirable)
