We are looking for a Client Relations Reporting Associate to join our Client Relations team in London.
Puma Investments raises funds from a variety of sources including wealth managers and IFAs from the very large including SJP, Barclays Wealth, Evelyn Partners, and Cazenove, through regional players to the very small independents, from execution-only brokers and from HNWs. We also work with leading wrap platforms including Fidelity, Aberdeen, M&G and Transact.
Within this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients (retail investors and financial intermediaries) and working collaboratively with internal business units to help support the business’ fundraising efforts. You will have strong knowledge across Puma’s entire product range, ensuring communications with clients are both accurate and timely. You will also support other team members in their day-to-day roles. In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, you will look to streamline, digitise and automate manual processes, to increase efficiencies within the team, and work closely with the Head of Client Relations to drive new initiatives and positive engagement with our underlying client base.
Role Responsibilities:
* Ownership of client reporting templates, ensuring these are compliant and consistent with the Puma brand guidelines
* Responsible for generating and distributing periodic reports from internal systems in a timely manner
* Liaison with custodians and registrars for supporting documentation and data required to accompany reporting
* Reconciliation of Puma maintained client databases versus the custodian’s and registrar’s databases, investigating and resolving any anomalies
* Produce and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc investor/adviser communications such as valuation statements, product reports, investment or divestment notifications, etc
* Maintain electronic client records in an orderly and comprehensive manner across multiple systems and third-party partners
* Support the organisation and execution of biannual investor events
* Share client feedback directly with management and identify opportunities to improve service and increase efficiencies within the team
* Follow team and business policies and procedures, ensuring any complaints and/or operational incidents are recorded and escalated to management in a timely and accurate manner
* Other ad hoc duties as requested from time to time
Experience Required:
* Experience in an Asset Management/Financial Services role is preferred
* A basic understanding of financial products is essential, and a knowledge of the tax- efficient investment sector would be highly beneficial
* Proactive with the ability to work in a high performing environment whilst maintaining high levels of integrity
* Experience of dealing with clients in a professional and confidential manner
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation as well as with external stakeholders
* Adaptable and willing to get stuck into whatever needs doing
* Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Interest in pursuing the Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or Investment Management Certificate (IMC)
