Diagnostic Imaging Assistant
Employer: Chaucer Hospital, Canterbury. 37.5 Hours & Permanent. Salary: Up to £24,950.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).
Duties
* You are an integral part of the imaging team, providing high standard of patient-centred care.
* Work within the multidisciplinary team to deliver care, maintaining and enhancing customer service and satisfaction under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
* Conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/Imaging Assistants standard framework, adhering to NMC and HCPC codes of conduct.
* Demonstrate competence in the role within your working areas.
* Provide safe and high-quality care provision for patients alongside multidisciplinary team.
* Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
* Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
* Care Certificate.
* NVQ Level 1 and/or willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
* Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
* Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
