What you’ll do on a typical day:
Carry out root cause analysis on breakdowns and implement corrective actions
* Minimise operational downtime through effective fault-finding and repairs
* Ensure spare equipment ins maintained and recorded in line with asset management processes
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve automation efficiency
* Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
* Identify, report, and mitigate hazards, incidents, and accidents
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Electrical & Mechanical Engineering qualification – minimum ONC in Electrical Engineering/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Electrical qualification
* Strong proven experience within engineering or automation environments
* Hands-on knowledge of warehouse automation systems, including Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Conveyors, Sortation systems
* Experience working in complex, fast-moving operations
