As part of the Arco Family, you’ll be joining a team with an unrivalled reputation for being the UK’s leading independent supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Working at Height and in Confined Spaces. Our mobile-based inspectors play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of the equipment we provide to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Inspecting and Servicing working at height Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lifting accessories (LOLER), in line with manufacturers guidelines and relevant legislation
* Examination of lifting accessories in line with manufacturers guidelines and relevant legislation
* Portable appliance testing
* Working remotely on client’s sites and at Safety Services offices
* Assist with in-house servicing
* Completing all work with accuracy and attention to detail, as this is safety-critical equipment; complete the administration process in accordance with internal standards framework

The ideal Health and Safety Equipment Inspector will be/have
* Full and valid UK Driving license and the ability to travel frequently
* Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Word
* A general interest in health and safety with a willingness to build a career in this sector
* A “safety first” mindset with a continuous focus on safety
* An excellent eye for attention to detail
* Ability to learn and follow processes thoroughly
* Ability to prioritise own workload
* Ability to be flexible and support other team members as required
