Bank Hospital Administrator | Private hospital | Staff Bank, 0 hours contract | Horley, West Sussex

Spire Gatwick Park Hospital are seeking an experienced administrator to join the temporary staffing bank team. As Hospital Administrator, may be required to cover on the Wards, Medical records or Reception.

Duties and responsibilities

These will include but are not limited to:

1. To greet and provide a customer focused, professional and effective service that exceeds expectations to all Patients, Consultants, and Visitors to the hospital
2. To deal with all telephone enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner
3. To give clear, concise information to all enquiries
4. To liaise with Catering Department regarding orders for refreshments by patients and visitors
5. To inform insurance companies if extended length of stay is required to keep insurance companies informed of emergency admissions
6. Ensure that patient notes are up to date and in correct order and are taken to the appropriate place when a patient episode is complete.
7. Ensure that all filing of results and other information is accurately filed in the patient’s notes
8. Cover reception as required

Who we're looking for:

9. Previous relevant experience in an administrative support role, within a similar industry would be ideal but not essential
10. Excellent attention to detail
11. Customer Service skills
12. Process driven
13. Team player
14. Computer literate
15. Adept at handling various calls on a daily basis
16. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
17. Reliable and happy to work in different departments as required

Contract: 0 hours contract, temporary staffing

Hours: Shifts across Monday-Friday early start 6.30am - latest finish 8.30pm
