Job description
I. Job Summary
* To take overall responsibility for the success of assigned Programmes and/or Product Families to ensure they achieve their business objectives throughout the product lifecycle.
* To lead multi-functional teams, coordinate activities, foster teamwork, and facilitate cooperation among all participants.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Program Management: Manage programmes, identify and mitigate risks, ensure objectives are met, and deliver successful outcomes.
2. Sales & Technical Validation: Validate proposals and estimates, understand proposals, raise clarifications, prepare business cases, and ensure proper documentation.
3. Financial Oversight: Manage commercial aspects, monitor sales and profits, identify cost reduction opportunities, and address concerns.
4. Planning: Establish and communicate detailed plans with milestones and timelines, and collaborate with partners.
5. Support Coordination: Ensure support and resources from functions, manage relationships, and coordinate partner activities.
6. Review Meetings: Organize and chair project reviews, record actions, and manage modifications.
7. Communication: Regularly update stakeholders, report to senior management, and raise issues promptly.
8. Contract Management: Establish and review contracts with support from contract managers.
9. Business Development: Collaborate with sales and product teams on new projects and market insights.

Candidate skills & requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related; advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
* Proven program or project management experience, preferably in aviation or aerospace.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Analytical, detail-oriented, results-driven.
* Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).
* Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
