In this role, you will lead the UK brand & e-commerce team for ASR Group Europe (ASRGE). The team consists of a Marketing Assistant, two Brand Managers, a Digital Marketing Manager, and personnel responsible for e-commerce fulfilment. The team manages the Lyle’s brand (No.1 Golden Syrup), Tate & Lyle brand (No.2 in Sugars), and Whitworths (No.4 in Sugars), as well as overseeing specific e-commerce activities. Responsibilities include producing annual brand plans, executing targeted activations, achieving e-commerce targets, and maintaining owned media channels.
This is an exciting phase for the business as we push NPD projects, with this position playing a key role. You will be supported by a strong team and a larger marketing function to ensure success.
Location: WC2E 9HE (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Annual Plans: Develop and implement annual brand plans that align with marketing, sales, and innovation goals, ensuring delivery of marketing objectives.
* Activation: Oversee agencies and internal resources to execute marketing activations, including creative development and media planning.
* Digital & Owned Media: Lead team to manage performance of web and social media channels.
* E-commerce: Guide team in developing successful online storefronts, customer acquisition strategies, and performance management.
* Communication & Team: Foster strong relationships with external agencies, marketing colleagues, sales, and other functions to ensure alignment and provide strategic direction.
* Budget: Manage costs to maximize ROI, set and oversee the annual marketing budget.
* EPD / Portfolio Management: Maintain product portfolios for profitability, supporting periodic reviews with analysts and sales teams.
* People Management: Lead and develop team members, clarifying responsibilities and coaching for performance.
ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCES
* Marketing experience, preferably in FMCG
* Leadership of a consumer brand
* Successful multi-channel brand activation experience
* Experience in launching and establishing new products
* Proven ability to increase sales via e-commerce
