Salary: £27,000 plus overtime and sleep-in opportunities.
Hours: 35 per week.
Shift: Early 7.00am to 4.00pm; Late 4.00pm to 10.00pm.
Location: Strood.
About the Role: Team Leader
Our Team Leaders ensure high standards of person-centred care. They work hands-on, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive culture. They communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds, liaise with families and professionals, and have knowledge of medication administration. The role requires quick thinking to resolve challenging situations and maintaining accurate records. Ideally, you are an experienced Team Leader with a background in autism care.
Meet The Team
River Drive is a purpose-built service supporting three adults with autism, with shared and private spaces. Residents engage in activities like theatre trips, wildlife parks, and coastal visits. We seek a Team Leader who believes in active involvement and support for individuals' rights to participate fully in life. Our team enjoys social activities like coffee catch-ups and spa visits.

Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to:
* Driving a mobility car (manual license essential)
* Supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff
* Managing finances per policies
* Communicating with families and stakeholders
* Supporting community activities
* Maintaining records and administering medication
* Supporting personal care and household tasks
* Managing challenging behaviors and additional needs
* Lone working and sleep-in shifts with allowances
