A Day in the Life of an Ipsos Field Market Research Interviewer
Imagine it: it’s a scheduled 6-hour shift (starting around 1 or 2pm), one of three you’ve pre-booked for the week, consisting of weekdays and weekends between the hours of 9am and 8pm. You’ll go door-to-door to invite people to participate in surveys, using a company-provided tablet to record their answers. Training is provided to help you feel confident approaching people, even if they weren’t expecting a visit. Mileage reimbursement is offered for travel. You’ll be making a real difference by helping businesses and organisations make decisions that impact your community.
Responsibilities
* Go door-to-door inviting people to participate in surveys using a company-provided tablet to record responses.
* Work on scheduled shifts (typical 6-hour blocks) within the hours of 9am–8pm, including weekdays and weekends.
* Complete training provided by Ipsos to build confidence in approaching respondents.
* Receive mileage reimbursement for travel.
* Contribute to insights that help businesses and organisations make decisions affecting the community.
What you’ll need
* Valid driver’s licence and access to a car for travel between locations.
* Comfortable meeting new people, striking up conversations, and putting respondents at ease at their doorstep.
* Ability to work part-time with at least 12 hours per week in pre-booked 6-hour shifts, and to be your own boss within the scheduled hours.
