Overview
Reinstatement Operative (White/Black top) role at Lanes Group, Bradford, Yorkshire. Frame & Covers / Ironworks Operative to support replacing manhole frames and covers and reinstatements as part of the contract with Yorkshire Water.
Location
Bradford, Yorkshire.
Hours
50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm with a paid lunch). Overtime available at time and a half.

Responsibilities
* Replace manhole frames and covers; dig/excavate by hand; replace gullies with precision and care.
* Complete all types of reinstatements (paving, tarmac, concrete, etc.).
* Carry out site-specific risk assessments and discuss changes with the team and site supervisor.
* Ensure on-site activities comply with highways permits and are live as required to avoid penalties.
* Update and complete site documentation using an electronic tablet.
* Operate machinery and tools safely to assist with tasks.
* Record photographic evidence of jobs performed and completed.
* Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; wear and maintain PPE.
* Ensure highway reinstatement remains compliant to avoid defects.
* Read and understand drainage plans.

Experience and Qualifications
* Full UK driving license (Required).
* Training will include NPORS, Banksman, Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, NRSWA, EUSR National Water Hygiene, Asbestos Awareness, Slinger and Signaller, Abrasive Wheels, Calm Water, EUSR Safe Dig – Cat & Genny, EUSR Water, and Face Fit Tested – FFP3.
