Security Officer at St Andrew’s Healthcare – Birmingham. Salary: £24,078 per annum. 37.5 hour contract – shift cover 24/7.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Security Officer to join our team and contribute towards the continuous delivery of our secure service.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain security systems and keep accurate records.
* Key management: issue, track and return keys.
* Process staff and visitor access.
* Respond to all emergency incidents – fire and intruder alarms.
* Conduct internal and external patrols of the site.
* Support female patients in our care.
About You
* Working knowledge or experience in the healthcare sector or similar.
* Working knowledge or experience in the security field.
* Good working knowledge of security systems.
* Demonstrate good communication skills.
* Clear verbal and written skills.
* Flexible, reliable and able to work a 12‑hour shift pattern on days or nights.
* Strong customer focus.
* Initiative while adhering to policies and procedures that ensure a safe environment and secure standards.
* Full UK driving licence for manual vehicles (essential).
