Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an Undergraduate Coordinator to join our dynamic team within the Undergraduate Medical Education Department. This is a 0.6 WTE post working at both the QMC and City campus as required to support medical student placements in the trust. You would be working as part of a team, as well as using your own initiative, to coordinate undergraduate medical student placements within the trust. The team is a key point of contact for the clinical teaching staff, medical students and university team in the succinct running of medical student placements.
Responsibilities
* Co-ordinating University of Nottingham medical student placements in the trust.
* Supporting and signposting medical students when on clinical placements.
* Organising teaching and workshops for placements.
* Collating student feedback and ensuring responses to feedback alongside Clinical Lead.
* Handling day-to-day placement queries.
* Being responsive to short notice changes to teaching and able to act quickly and accurately to ensure good communication to all parties affected.
* Circulating placement information to students and clinical teachers in a timely manner.
