About The Role Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence? Join us as a Contract Operations Manager and take charge of a major Highways term maintenance contract, overseeing drainage, reactive, and winter services across South East England. What you'll be doing Lead a £30m–£70m budget and a team of 130 professionals Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across all the functions, H & S specifically, embedding a culture of Zero Harm Manage a defined area of the contract P&L and balance sheet with responsibility for implementing the Divisional business plan within this area Drive performance, profitability, and service excellence Have a strategic view of the reactive service delivery and any improvements required Build strong client relationships and support business growth Shape strategy and deliver continuous improvement. Who we're looking for Proven experience managing contracts worth £30m Operational or technical experience Highly motivated to deliver customer satisfaction Self-motivated to achieve a high level of performance Demonstrate leadership skills that will inspire the team to succeed Good financial acumen with a proven knowledge of budgetary control and Profit & Loss accounts. Desirable Qualifications Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related field Manager CSCS card.
