Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and informative History lessons to students according to the school's curriculum guidelines
* Create lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to different learning styles and abilities
* Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school administration
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives
* Participate in faculty and department meetings, as well as professional development opportunities
* Stay up-to-date with educational trends and best practices in History instruction
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in History or related field
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Passion for History and the ability to inspire and engage students
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
