Assignment Details
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will help adapt learning materials, implement EHCP targets, and provide emotional and behavioural support where required.
Start dates are staggered, and once compliance checks are complete, work is available immediately. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work part-time or full-time depending on your availability.

Person Specification – SEN Teaching Assistant
7. Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs
8. Understanding of EHCPs and differentiated learning approaches
9. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
10. Ability to manage challenging behaviour positively and effectively
11. Strong communication and teamwork skills
12. Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
13. Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable
