Moog is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Accounts Administrator to join our dynamic team of five at our state-of-the-art Tewkesbury site. This is a pivotal commercial administration role supporting both Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket programmes. You will take ownership of dedicated customer accounts, acting as the administrative focal point to ensure contractual commitments are understood, implemented, monitored and achieved. You will quickly develop an understanding of Moog's products, programmes, pricing strategies, order entry systems, repair processes, shipping procedures and invoicing systems.
Your ability to manage customer interactions professionally and ensure contractual performance directly influences how Moog is perceived by our customers. This role requires a proactive, organised and commercially aware individual who thrives in a structured, deadline-driven environment. The position is integral to maintaining Moog's reputation for service excellence, contractual integrity and customer intimacy. Your primary focus will be order book administration and contractual compliance, ensuring customer purchase orders align with Moog quotations and contractual terms.
Key responsibilities include:
* Accurate data and order entry into Moog's business systems
* Reviewing and approving purchase orders to ensure compliance with quotations and proposals
* Issuing order acknowledgements
* Providing quotations and following up to secure revised purchase orders where required
* Managing and maintaining order books (dates, quantities, pricing updates)
* Monitoring order progression through manufacturing and repair processes
* Providing regular delivery and programme updates to customers
* Coordinating cross-functionally to resolve technical, delivery or contractual issues
* Preparing shipping documentation and liaising with Trade Compliance as necessary
* Maintaining accurate contract files, customer profiles and change order records
* Archiving closed purchase orders in accordance with process requirements
* Acting, where required, as the lead customer point of contact for assigned programmes
* You will support customer intimacy initiatives including Voice of the Customer (VoC), customer metrics and relationship management activities.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Previous administrative experience in a customer-focused environment
* Strong written communication skills (a significant proportion of communication is written)
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
* High attention to detail and a structured approach to data accuracy
Desirable:
* Experience of order book administration
* Experience within a highly regulated manufacturing or engineering environment (e.g., aerospace)
* Exposure to contract review or commercial administration
