Overview
This is a challenging leadership role where you will manage and coordinate the Cardiac Rehabilitation service alongside the multidisciplinary team. You will provide specialist assessment and advice to patients with cardiac conditions, ensuring health education and promotion programmes meet individual needs. You will help redesign the service using best evidence, keeping patient-centred care at the heart of delivery, while maintaining budgetary control and activity levels. You will develop, manage and monitor the Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation service. Line management of specialist nurses and admin team. You will provide specialist nursing assessments and advise patients with cardiac conditions. You will facilitate and participate in the redesign of the service as required based on best evidence and patient needs.

Responsibilities
* Lead and line-manage the Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation team, including specialist nurses and admin staff.
* Provide specialist nursing assessments and advice to patients with cardiac conditions.
* Coordinate and participate in the redesign of the service based on best evidence and patient needs.
* Develop and monitor the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention service to ensure quality and performance.
Qualifications and experience
* You must be a registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist with a degree.
* ENB 998/Mentorship Module (or equivalent).
* At least 5 years' experience in cardiology or cardiovascular exercise management.
