Job Description Summary The Senior Manager, Responsible Sourcing Leader will lead GE HealthCare's strategy, governance, and execution of responsible sourcing initiatives across the global supply base. This leader will develop and advance programs focused on human rights, environmental sustainability, inclusive sourcing and ethical business conduct-ensuring our sourcing practices support the company's values, regulatory requirements, customer expectations and long-term resilience. This role partners with senior leaders across Sourcing, Sustainability, EHS, Compliance, Legal, and HR. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep subject-matter expertise and experience driving meaningful change across complex, global supply chains. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Develop and execute GE HealthCare's global responsible sourcing strategy aligned with enterprise Sustainability and supply chain goals. Own the long-term roadmap for human rights due diligence, environmental performance, and inclusive sourcing across our broad supply base. Advise executive leadership on emerging regulations, risks, and opportunities related to responsible sourcing. Lead global due diligence and supplier transparency efforts, including partnership with EcoVadis. Work closely with Sourcing category leaders to integrate responsible sourcing requirements into sourcing strategies and supplier selection. Support external climate goal commitments by developing and leading strategies to reduce emissions in relevant scope 3 emissions categories. Partner with Environmental team to develop roadmap for other material issues. Develop inclusive sourcing goals and ensure compliance with U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) requirements, and complete applicable reporting. Strong understanding of nature-related risks and high impact commodities, and ability to partner with sourcing leaders to drive measurable improvements including nature-positive outcomes. Lead capability-building initiatives for internal sourcing teams and external suppliers, including training programs and collaborative improvement plans. Partner with suppliers to drive improvements in sustainability performance, working conditions, emissions reduction, and ethical conduct. Ensure compliance with global sustainability regulations and monitor emerging regulations. Required Qualifications For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Sourcing & Sourcing Initiatives. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience). For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)). Strong knowledge of leading responsible sourcing practices. Expertise in global ESG regulations, human rights standards, and supply chain risk management. Working knowledge of corporate decarbonization frameworks, including SBTi, and how supply chain activities contribute to Scope 3 emissions. Experience working with supplier audit programs and sustainability platforms (e.g., EcoVadis, Sedex). Strong organizational and executive communication skills. Ability to think strategically and lead large cross-functional, global initiatives. Proficiency in using sourcing and procurement software, as well as data analytics tools. Desired Characteristics Experience in the healthcare, medical technology, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing sectors. Background in ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CSRD, TCFD) and human rights due diligence principles (UNGPs, OECD Guidelines). Experience developing or implementing supplier-engagement or decarbonization programs aligned with SBTi requirements. Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and driving cultural change. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $140,000.00-$210,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
