You will be joining an independent Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Consultancy based in the West Midlands, delivering technical design and advisory services across a diverse range of sectors.Their portfolio spans automotive, education, healthcare, hotels, logistics, leisure, public sector,mercial offices, luxury residential, retail, pharmaceutical and heritage projects, as well as selected overseas work. Your new role
As an M&E BIM Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of coordinated building services designs across a wide range of projects.Working closely with engineers and the wider design team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D drawings and BIM models, ensuring accuracy, coordination, andpliance across all project stages.Key responsibilities include:
1. Producing detailed M&E drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD
2. Supporting the development of coordinated design information across disciplines
3. Assisting engineers with model production from concept through to construction
4. Ensuring all drawings and models meet project specifications and industry standards
5. Coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to resolve design clashes
6. Attending design meetings and supporting project delivery
7. Maintaining BIM standards and contributing to continuous improvement

What you'll need to succeed
Experience working as a BIM Technician / CAD Technician within an M&E or building services consultancy
15. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
16. Good understanding of building services coordination and design processes
17. Ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings and models
18. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
19. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
20. Effectivemunication skills when working with engineers and external stakeholders
