SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs. Duties include assessing individual student needs, developing personalised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, monitoring progress, and adapting teaching methods to suit each student's requirements. The tutor will also collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development. Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification Demonstrated experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: A degree in Education or a related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a tutor or teacher with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of various learning difficulties and strategies to support them Ability to create individualised learning plans Strong classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in Special Education Experience with assistive technology Working Conditions: The SEN Tutor will work part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students in a school setting. The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate student needs and meetings with parents or school staff.
