GRAYCE — Graduate Cyber Security Analyst position available in Eastleigh, United Kingdom. Launching in November 2025 as part of Grayce's Accelerated Development Programme to develop graduates through hands-on security projects with industry partners.
Cyber security is a business-critical priority. The role focuses on monitoring and responding to security incidents, identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and contributing to robust defence strategies to safeguard data and ensure operational continuity.
Location and Salary
Location: Hursley / Winchester / Southampton / Reading
Starting Salary: £28,000
Application Requirements: Minimum 2:1 or above in a Computer Science subject; Right to work in the UK unsponsored for the duration of the programme; Ability to work on site 5 days a week; Open to shift pattern working; This role requires a high level of security clearance. Applicants must have been based in the UK for the last five years as a minimum; Relocation to area required – support available.
Role and Development
As a Graduate Cyber Security Analyst, you will be at the frontline, working with cutting-edge technologies to monitor and respond to security incidents and contribute to the development of robust defence strategies. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement solutions to keep the organization secure. The role offers hands-on experience on client projects, with opportunities across SOC Analyst, Data Analyst, InfoSec, Software Testing and DevOps.
You will typically work for one client, delivering high-quality outcomes. The programme includes earning industry-recognised qualifications, with a minimum of 6 accreditations during your time on the development programme (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, Agile Practitioner, CMI level 5). Mentors and coaches will support your development, and there is 24/7 wellness support.
What we are looking for
* 2:1 Undergraduate Degree: An undergraduate degree with a minimum 2:1 in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cyber Security).
* Technical Knowledge: Solid foundation in technical concepts, programming languages, frameworks and tools used in cyber security.
* Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to spot patterns, think creatively, and apply critical thinking to complex issues.
* Soft Skills: Effective communication, planning, organisation, learning mindset, stakeholder and time management.
