GSL Education are looking for a passionate RE Teacher to work with a school in Sheffield (S11), helping students develop understanding, respect, and critical thinking through engaging lessons. As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that explore a range of religions and worldviews, while creating a calm and inclusive classroom where students feel confident to share their thoughts and ideas. Main Duties: Deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach key topics including major world religions, ethics, and moral issues. Encourage respectful discussion and thoughtful debate. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback Work collaboratively with colleagues to support effective curriculum delivery. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as an RE Teacher in school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A clear commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). What’s in It for You?
