This organisation employs approximately 900 staff, based in Wales (just outside central Cardiff) and is accessible by public transport or there is free parking on-site.
Your new role
This is a hands-on role, providing 1st and some 2nd line support in a busy environment. You'll be part of a small, collaborative team, helping to manage incoming requests, troubleshoot issues, and escalate where necessary. There will be face-to-face interaction with service users, plus you will be receiving calls via their service desk.
What you'll need to succeed
* Provide 1st line technical support across Windows and Mac environments
* Manage and triage service requests via portal, email, and phone
* Troubleshoot common issues such as connectivity problems and password resets
* Escalate complex issues while maintaining clear communication with users
* Use remote tools and team screen sharing for investigation and resolution.
* Work on-site full-time in a South Wales location
