About the School
Teaching Personnel are working with a well-established secondary school located in Portsmouth who are seeking a teacher of Maths from February or April 2026. This co-educational school, which caters to students aged 11 to 16, has a long-standing presence in the community and is known for its inclusive values, strong pastoral care, and commitment to academic excellence.
Following its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2024, the school received ‘Good’ ratings across all key areas, including quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. Inspectors praised the school as a “happy, kind and respectful” environment with high expectations for all students.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong subject knowledge and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
* Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4.
* Strong classroom management, a commitment to inclusive education, and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
