Your missions The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of Framatome Ltd is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day sales activities within the United Kingdom. The CSO ensures that all sales activities are developed, secured and handed over to operations for delivery aligned to Framatome's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and commitment to safety and quality in the nuclear sector. The role requires a visionary leader with deep experience in complex, highly regulated industries, preferably within nuclear energy or related engineering fields. The CSO will shape and lead the sales organisation to align with Framatome overall governance structure while meeting local requirements for a UK Plc. The sales activities cover the following core Civil (not defence, managed separately) markets: New Build (Large Nuclear, HPC & SZC) Existing Generation (PWRs) Future Energy (SMRs and Fusion) Decommissioning and Waste Management Process, Fluids, Mixing and Testing (as a specific legacy market) The CSO will work with the CEO, COO and the UK Exco to win work that will support to evolve the organisation of the company in line with its localisation strategy incorporating business related to other BUs. You are What we are looking for: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree (e.g., MEng, MSc, MBA) preferred. Significant senior leadership experience (typically 10 years) in sales leadership within the nuclear, energy, or similarly regulated sector. Proven track record of winning large-scale, complex projects in a safety-critical environment. Deep understanding of UK nuclear market, clients and competition. Strong financial and commercial acumen with the experience of forecasting significant order intake across a matrix and multi-group organisation. Understanding of relevant ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001,19443). Deep understanding and experience of negotiation commercial & legal agreements. Experience working within a multinational matrix organisation Relevant professional accreditation and member of an appropriate professional body Effective negotiation skills to secure a win-win outcome with our clients Understanding of the market to achieve a successful outcome from marketing and event activities Ability to engage an audience and communicate effectively with stakeholders both internally and externally.
